Red Earth Training

This Telehandler training course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to plan, prepare, conduct machine pre-operational checks, operate telescopic materials handler, attaching, securing, lifting, carrying and placing materials; selecting, removing and fitting attachments; relocating telescopic materials handler; carrying out machine operator maintenance and cleaning up.

This comprehensive two day course involves both theory and practical components and can be completed at Red Earth Training and Assessing Irymple Yard.

Participants who are successful in the completion of this training course may be at an advantage to secure operational roles within the industrial, mining, oil and gas sectors.

• Persons must be 18 years of age or older
• Photo ID must be presented i.e. current drivers licence or passport
• Basic numeracy skills
• Basic English language and literacy skills
• Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the safety of the course must be disclosed prior to attending
