Purpose:

This training course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to

conduct gas testing in working atmospheres using a electronic test apparatus. Gas

testing is generally carried out prior to workers entering a specific area or workspace

to ensure the working atmosphere is safe for entry.

Course Entry Requirements:

Persons must be 18 years of age or older
Photo ID must be presented i.e. current drivers license or passport
Basic English language and literacy skills
Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the safety of the course must be disclosed prior to attending

Certification:

On successful completion of this course persons will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and wallet card. This course is a Nationally Accredited Course.
