Purpose:
This training course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to
conduct gas testing in working atmospheres using a electronic test apparatus. Gas
testing is generally carried out prior to workers entering a specific area or workspace
to ensure the working atmosphere is safe for entry.
Course Entry Requirements:
- Persons must be 18 years of age or older
- Photo ID must be presented i.e. current drivers license or passport
- Basic English language and literacy skills
- Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the safety of the course must be disclosed prior to attending
Certification:
On successful completion of this course persons will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and wallet card. This course is a Nationally Accredited Course.
