Confined Space Training (CS)

Purpose:

This training course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to safely enter confined spaces and is based on the National Unit of Competency: RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Space. On completion of this course, participants will have gained knowledge on the governing standards (AS 2865:2009) and legislative requirements for entering and working in confined spaces; be able to complete documents and records relevant to confined space work; selection and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment; identify problems as they arise and take appropriate action.

Course Entry Requirements:

Persons must be 18 years of age or older
Photo ID must be presented i.e. current drivers licence or passport
Basic English language and literacy skills
Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the safety of the course must be disclosed prior to attending

Certification:

On successful completion of the course persons will be issued with a Training U Certificate/Statement of Attainment and a Enter and Work in Confined Space card. This course is a Nationally Accredited Course.

For any nationally recognised training you will be enrolled with Training U RTO 52608

Training U is the RTO responsible for ensuring the quality of your training and assessment in this course, and for issuing your Statement of Attainment

This course is available to be combined with Gas Test Atmospheres – One Day Course $450.
